Last month Ben had a day off of work, so we decided to go on a hike. We live at the base of the Franklin Mountains. So it only took us about 10 minutes to get to the hiking spot we went to.
It was beautiful and didn't even seem like we live in town!
Here is Daisy before our trip. I carried her in a carrier on my back. Ben had Lacey in a carrier as well.
Devin was so excited to go hiking!
Ben and Lacey ready to start! We were all unloading from the van and getting ready. We brought snacks and the boys packed their own back packs.
Here is a picture of the start of the hike. Isn't it pretty? We didn't do the full hike because it started to get dark, so we turned back. But we will definitely have to go back and do the full hike!

We had to hike back to the van in the dark. Luckily, it wasn't to far and it's a lot easier to go down the mountain than up!
