Monster Truck

On our way up to Cedar Ranch, we went past this truck. Ben had to turn around and take a picture of it. It is HUGE! It could crush that dumpster. Can you imagine trying to climb into that thing! Yikes!

Snow!

You had to see it to believe it! We had the Richardson Family Campout this past weekend at Cedar Ranch (between Heber and Holbrook). On our way up there, we were in a snow storm! It's crazy weather for Arizona! So Ben had to get out and take a picture. It was soooo cold!

100,000 Miles!

Usually we buy vehicles that are over 100,000 miles. But a couple of years ago we saved up all of our pennies and bought our first car that had less than 100,000 miles. Our Yukon XL has been a great vehicle and we love it! We also hit a milestone last week...the 100,000 mile mark. So we quickly pulled off the side of the road and took a picture.

The Birthday Pinata

Ben's Dad and Calvin share the same birthday. So every year Calvin wants to go over to their house and they have a pinata. They always have lots of fun!

The Wormy Birthday Cake

We were going with the worms and mud look...what do you think?
Carson helped me make this cake for Calvin's birthday.

Sling Shots and Guns

One Saturday we took the boys down in the Queen Creek wash and had a target practice.
They each took turns shooting the b-b gun and using the sling-shot. They did really good and we all had a great time!
First, Ben had to lay out all the ground rules. No one was allowed to go past the piece of wood that is laying down and everyone had to take turns. They all listened very intently.

I think that Ben had more fun with the sling shot than the boys did.

Lunch Anyone?

One day during Ben's Spring Break we wanted to go out for lunch with the boys but we wanted to be creative so this is what we got...all for free! Some of the boys had the personal pan pizza certificates from pizza hut for reading at school. And we also had some coupons for free kids meals from Long John Silvers and from Papa Johns. We figured this whole meal would have cost us over $30!
The boys thought we were hilirious going from store. But we had a great time!

Check out our Girls Only Weekend

Here's a link to our Girls ONLY Weekend that we had. We had so much fun!

Our Cub Scouts!

Caleb and Carson are officially in the Scouting Program and they LOVE it! Brother Ben Lyman is introducing the boys at Pack Night and they recieved their Bobcat. They had to be held upside down while I pinned their badge on them. Then once they do a kind thing to someone, their badge can be turned right side up. The last picture is when they pinned the Bobcat pin on me. They are loving every minute of Scouts and they have great leaders!

Just a few of the boys...

I have been slowly going through a bunch of my pictures and doing some posts.
See my parent's blog for more of my posts.
One of Calvin's favorite thing to do at Grandma and Grandpa's Reed's house is to climb the cottonwood trees. Boys just need trees!
Ashton loves getting pictures taken. (Note the scratches on the side of his face. Devin gave those to him while we were shopping at Wal-Mart.)
Doesn't Carson look so handsome? He is getting so big!

Skateboarding

During the day while all the older boys are in school, we like to keep busy. Ashton asked me one day if I could take some pictures of him. This is what we came up with. All of the poses were his ideas!
